چکیده

ABSTRACT The objective of this study was to evaluate the effects including citrus pulp in maize silage on chemical composition and fermentation parameters. experimental design fully randomized with four replicates. Maize consisting 0–50% produced analyzed. pH linearly decreased increased inclusion (3.49 at 50% pulp), which is far below what considered adequate (3.8–4.2). However, not all parameters were compromised. At 33% pulp, we estimated 30.82 g/kg total nitrogen. 49% 95.16 crude protein. 21% 22% 549.89 neutral detergent fiber 678.11 digestible nutrients, respectively. Therefore, conclude that up 30% improves complete owing reduction structural carbohydrate values increases nutrient protein content.

Chemical composition, silage fermentation characteristics, and in vitro ruminal fermentation parameters of potato-wheat straw silage treated with molasses and lactic acid bacteria and corn silage.

The aim of this study was to determine the effect of molasses and lactic acid bacteria (LAB) on the chemical composition, silage fermentation characteristics, and in vitro ruminal fermentation parameters of an ensiled potato-wheat straw mixture in a completely randomized design with 4 replicates. Wheat straw was harvested at full maturity and potato tuber when the leaves turned yellowish. The p...

Effects of Microbial Additives on Chemical Composition and Fermentation Characteristics of Barley Silage

This study examined the effects of bacterial inoculants on chemical composition and fermentation indices of barley silage. Barley forage (Youngyang) was harvested at 24% dry matter (DM) and wilted to 47.9% DM. The wilted barley forage was chopped to 3-5 cm length and applied with no inoculant (CON), L. plantarum (1×10(10) cfu/g, LP) or Effective Microorganisms (0.5×10(9) cfu/g, EM). Then the fo...

Chemical composition and protein enrichment of orange peels and sugar beet pulp after fermentation by two Trichoderma species

The present experiment aimed at increasing orange peel and sugar beet pulp protein content through solid-state fermentation by Trichoderma reesei and Trichoderma viride. In vitro digestibility and changes in the chemical composition of the fermented products were determined after seven days of fungal cultivation using gas production tests. The cultivation of T. reesei and T. viride on orange pe...
